I've spent 30 years on the table, built and rebuilt a career through injury and burnout and joy, became a registered nurse, then a university educator. Somewhere across 30,000+ massages, I learned the thing nobody teaches.

I started in marine biology, found my calling in massage, became a registered nurse, then a university educator — and somewhere across 30 years and more than 30,000 massages, I learned the thing nobody teaches: how to build a hands-on career that actually lasts.

I made the mistakes first. I undercharged. I worked too many hours. I felt the months where one cancellation week meant panic. Then I built the systems that let me keep serving without wearing out — clinically, financially, and personally.

That hard-won playbook is what I teach now.
